Thanks to 3 Halloween Hampers FDM has raised over £450

Fundraising in July
Thanks to all our volunteers who helped us at the Rothwell Carnival Event in July where we raised £302.80. Our photo shows FDM Trustees Ron and Virginia with their grandaughter, along with Katy, the Social Club Co-ordinator. Thanks to all our volunteers who made it another successful day.
A number of events over Christmas has made a big difference. We raised £361 through
our stall at Blackburn Hall Christmas Fair. Various hamper raffles helped to raise a
further £628. Our thanks to everyone who helps to support us.
October 2017. At our 20 th birthday celebration event our supporters helped us to raise £148 through a raffle. A big thank you to everyone who donated prizes.
September 2017 Our cake bake event at The Hare & Hounds was a delicious way to raise £124.80. Thanks to everyone who took part to make it a great morning.
September Our volunteers raised £136.50 bag packing at Sainsbury at Colton.
February 2017 – In memory of Barbara Collier (member) £150
Hare & Hounds donation following a game Giant Easter Egg raised £75.00
In memory of Keith – Carole Crosby & Muriel Wilson have donated £20.00
Members Berry Hawley & Betty Atkinson have made a general donation of £20.00
M&S White Rose Centre Saturday 25th March saw a bag pack where we raised a total of £163.76 – Thank you to all that volunteered.
May day at the Pastures Rothwell raised a total of £316.16 0 well done to all that took part
Saturday 10th June 2017, Fundraising – Asda, Morley – raised £182.44
Saturday 22nd April 2017 , GO APE experience
On the 22 April, Gordon Fitzgerald trustee, volunteer driver of FDM, raised £150. Carole Allen raised £231 .50p and her granddaughter Alicia Wrighton raised £100 totalling £481. 50.
Morrisons, Carol’s employer run a scheme to match fund money raised by there staff for good causes this will increase our total to £713.
This money will be used to continue providing FDM services to reduce isolation and loneliness in our community. A huge thank-you to Gordon Carole and Alicia for their brave efforts and everyone who supported them, from all at FDM. Gordon’s dog was a big supporter of them but did not take part.
